I got my Winterkissin' top done! I'm so excited, I just love all that saturated colour with those wee guys popping up in the middle. I decided against basting it at mum and dad's in the end after I realised that due to its enormousness, I was going to have to suck it up and learn how to long arm, and then give it a shot. For the back I have great plans now that I have quite a bit more time to work on it, so I can't wait to see how it turns out!
Here's the front to keep you going...
This took a fair amount of work to get the photo, including my dad's new studio lights, clearing the entire kitchen floor, standing on a stepladder, and quite a lot of photoshop to straighten it all up!

Gorgeous and the snowflake blocks just zing out too. How big is it?

ReplyDeleteThe kitchen will never be the same again! You can thank Gran for the money I got for Christmas, cos it paid for the remote trigger for the flash heads. It was a real pleasure to actually get them out and have them used. My only regret is you took your toes off the finished image! Perhaps a before and after on Wednesday? :-D
